City management on a titanic scale.

Get Zeus: Master of Olympus & the Poseidon expansion and you can create and rule a mythical greek city for only $9.99 on GOG.com.

Zeus (and the expansion Poseidon) is a city building game where you must manage all aspects of an ancient greek city, starting with a small village, and finishing with huge polis that is visited by gods, goddesses, and Greek champions. Zeus is not a simple city building game: of course you need to provide your citizens with enough food, fleece, olive oil, water, culture, and jobs to keep them happy; this game will also challenge your diplomacy, your ability to survive struggles, and your capacity to earn the respect of Gods and ancient heroes. Balancing your budget with what your citizens want is a key element--and if you aren’t careful, you could end up bankrupt! All of this plays a vital role in your city’s future. And Zeus manages to mix all those elements with a light-hearted charm: a guard is called "Dirty Harricles", sportsmen named "Gretzykles" or "Bobbi Orcas", a pair of water carriers named "Abbots and Costellos", and Gods roam the fields and kill livestock for fun. This is definitely a game that is funny while it’s fun.

If you’ve played Caesar 3 on GOG.com, you’re familiar with many of the mechanics that make Zeus awesome, but the new graphics, housing zones, detailed walkers, and quests and objectives make Zeus a new game in its own right, and one that’s phenomenal city-building fun.

Check out what the gods have in store for you with Zeus and Poseidon on GOG.com for just $9.99!
Thank you! Thank you GOG! Now all that is left is the bloody world of Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines and I will finally have copies of my two all time favorite games! Thanks again!
Thanks GOG, I have been waiting for this game. Its my favorite among all impression games city building ones. Time to add it to my backlog :)
Hm, never heard of this before. But if the company is behind Caesar 3, Lords of magic and Lords of the realm 2, this game already has great credentials.
Woohoo!
8 days & counting...
BTW, I've seen what you did with the main menu, GOG! Have you done some reverse engineering, or was no such thing required?
What is different about the main menu?

Holy crab cakes, batman!
This is amazing, I've been hoping for this release on GoG for ages now. Part of my childhood was spent in playing hours upon hours of this game. I still have the original manual as well! This game never gets old. Instant buy.
To the wishlist for now!

There's a "Visit GOG website" button (I recall they replaced the one linking to Sierra's site).

Vitek: 2 things:
1. Thanks for bringing it here finally.
2. Where the hell is Pharaoh? :-)
Well think about it for a second. Everyone wants Pharaoh, right? So it makes good sense for it to be released here. That goes without saying. But it also makes sense to release these games first, as after Pharaoh's release they're more likely to be ignored. Right now tow they might be bought by people looking to scratch that itch.
Another great release, and on the same day as the whole Quest for Glory series. GOG is on a roll!
Nice ... the people in the Caesar 3 forums will be pleased. :)

Wishlist-ed for now!

BTW should the forums for this and Caesar 3 be combined since they are part of the same series of games? And likewise the gamecard read "More games from this series: Caesar 3"? I know they're not called the same, but they are really part of the same city-builder series ...

Why would people ignore them? Zeus is a much better game than Pharaoh, at least in my humble opinion... And Caesar is at least as good as Pharaoh.
