Mucho loco!

Total Overdose: A Gunslingers Tale in Mexico, a GTA-inspired sandbox game with awesomely crazy gun combat and mind-bending car stunts, in which you infiltrate the Mexican drug underground, is available on GOG.com, for only $5.99.

Los Toros, Mexico. Everyone knows that the city is practically run by the drug cartel. But not everyone is fine with that. Ramiro "Ram" Cruz, the son of Ernesto Cruz, a DEA agent missing in action, will do everything in his power to take back Los Toros from gangsters and corrupt Federales. The only way to do that is to go undercover and infiltrate their ranks. For Ramiro, it means that he'll have to go full desperado and really shake the town. You need to think like a gangster, look like a gangster, and act like a gangster in such missions. That's undercover work 101. Looks like Los Torros is up for one hell of a rampage!

Total Overdose: A Gunslingers Tale in Mexico takes the open world sandbox gameplay and gangsta style of the GTA series and splices it with many original gameplay ideas, that make it a incredibly fun and rewarding action game. You will perform special combo-shots in mid air. You will do extreme car stunts straight out of action movies. You will even rewind time, and make sure you hit all the targets and make a perfect combo the second time around in an action sequence. All this and more spiced by some good old video game violence and rowdy humor.

Are you loco enough to take on the cartel? Get Total Overdose: A Gunslingers Tale in Mexico, for only $5.99, on GOG.com.

jacobmarner: * Unity - unknown to many Denmark is the place where the Unity engine is made.
I certainly wasn't aware of that. Cool :-)

As far as I recall, Playdead also shares their building with a few other development studios. Can't remember their names though.

so which platform for total overdose? pc or ps2?
I've never played the game so I could be wrong in my impression of it, but it seems like a better Saints Row before Saints Row even came out. Why has everyone been so amazed by SRs complete lack of realism when this thing's been kicking around for 8 years?!

It generally plays best on PS2 since that we the primary platform we targeted and that allows you to use a controller.

But the graphics look better on PC and the load times are much better on PC.

I was a bit under appreciative of this release earlier today. (well, now yesterday) TO does seem like a fun game, especially since I am a GTA fan. And that is a great price, too.
I don't know why, but I definitely recognize both the name and the picture, but no idea about the game. I guess I read some favorable review back in the day, and it got stuck in my brain.

Looking forward to buy this at some point.

DrYaboll: Too bad there is no soundtrack included as this alone would pretty much justify the purchase.

one more question if you don't mind. How about playing it on a pc with a controller? Is it possible?
