Archeology is the most fun a girl can have. Archeology and guns!

Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation + Chronicles--two Lara games for a price of one--are available on GOG.com right now DRM-free for only $9.99.

Tomb Raider: The Last Revelations finds Lara Croft in Egypt, where she crosses paths with an ancient, malevolent force. The Egyptian underworld is a place full of deadly traps and it will take all of her resolve and whole lot of new tricks to survive. And--of course--grab as much treasure as possible in the process.

In Tomb Raider: Chronicles, after Lara is presumed dead, a memorial service is held, during which three old associates of Lara's--Winston Smith, Father Patrick Dunstan and Charles Kane--reminisce about some of her past adventures. Tomb Raider Chronicles takes us back in time to witness some of Lara’s first and most spectacular quests that made her the hardcore heroine that she is.

Both Last Revelations and Chronicles feature new interactive environments and gameplay elements: climbing and swinging from ropes, walking on tightropes, and performing somersaults. Also, Lara sports a few new outfits, including a camouflage snow-suit and a black catsuit suitable for infiltration.

Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation + Chronicles complete the collection of early Lara Croft games on GOG.com. Dive into the adventure for only $9.99.
Alright, had a feeling this would release today. Aaannnnd that pretty much completes all of the Tomb Raider games I wanted to come to GOG, unless there are fixes for the bugs in Anniversary.
More oldies! Good job GOG! Two thumbs up!
Is that my wishlist growing or am I just happy to see you? I've never played these two entries in the series so I look forward to picking these two up!
It is still kinda disappointing that GOG was not able to include soundtracks with this series.
Is this not legal here, then? http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/soundtrack/index.html

jamyskis: The only really bad one was Angel of Darkness, and that was the point where the franchise was taken out of Core Design's hands. Whether AoD had anything to do with that I can't say.

jamesbuc: Yeah Angel of Darkness was pretty poor. Still not craptastic but pretty poor, though a lot of that is actually thanks to Core Design being rushed on the release date (if I remember rightly)
The sad thing is that Angel of Darkness had the best plot in the series (in my opinion) and the best soundtrack. If only there was a modding comunity for that one...
As someone who never played any TR games before Legend, which is the best of the early ones? I loaded up TR1 but was very turned off by the lack of resolution options.
I'm happy to see more Lara Croft here, but these games do look dated at least on the screenshots. It's probably one of those cases where you're better off looking at gameplay videos that show the pace of the game instead of the graphics alone.

Well, they're all different. I think TR4 might be a good choice, since it's "back to the basics", ie. raiding tombs instead of shooting everything. Then again, TR2 has some great opening levels as does TR3 (although, if you've never played a TR before, the second level will kill you), so you might give them all a try.
Soon imma buy the two TR packs, so nice having the first 5 games here in digital form, thanks GOG.
Awesome release!

Gah, AoD was awful, awful, awful. I've never played TLR or Chronicles, but based on the GoG reviews, I'll pick 'em up once I have the funds.

Keep at it, and you may find that the game itself more than makes up for the low resolution.

I think that's a personal choice. I found Tomb Raider 2 to be my very favourite of the original 3. Hell, you get to kill a dragon in the end! (There are even t-rexes if you can find them :)

Although I enjoyed all of the original 5. I actually recently bought TR5 so I'm playing that now - @gog I would've bought it here, but I found it here in the bargain bin for Less than the equivalent of $4. :)
Just bought it, Last Revealation works fine, but Tomb Raider Chronicles crashes on launch with a "Failed to Setup Direct X" message. I have emailed GOG support on this issue.
ANybody else have this problem?
I have great memories on these games. Finally here!
I really forgot how many of these Tomb Raider games were released back in the day...
