The stronger you push against evil, the stronger it pushes back.

The Black Mirror 2, a second encounter with ancient evil in the sequel of the mystery-packed dark adventure game, is available 20% off on GOG.com. That's only $7.99 for the first week.

When solitary Darren Michaels befriends the beautiful Angelina, he has no idea what the fates hold in store for him. The alluring Angelina has also attracted the eye of several others; and when she suddenly disappears, Darren finds himself questioning what has happened to her as he is haunted by a series of torturous and ever-intensifying nightmares. Darren’s search for his missing friend and his own sanity take him on a chilling expedition from his small New England town to the reigning evil of Black Mirror Castle. During his journey, Darren will become immersed in the dark secrets and turbulent history of the castle’s ill-fated Gordon Family. Legend has it that the Gordons were haunted by an ancient curse that ultimately led to their demise more than a decade ago. Will Darren be able overcome these demons and find Angelina? Or will he become the curse’s next victim?

The Black Mirror 2 opens before you a dark and captivating world as the massive evil of Black Mirror Castle is reincarnated with over 100 atmospheric locations to explore and 40 different characters to interact with. A frightening, interactive setting is brought to life with elaborate animations and highly detailed backgrounds.
The game features over ten hours of recorded dialogue and an original orchestral soundtrack (available as a bonus OGG download).

If you think of yourself as a brave gamer, you can risk entering the towering cursed castle in The Black Mirror 2, for only $7.99. The 20% off release discount offer lasts until Tuesday, July 29, at 9:59AM GMT.

Erich_Zann: So if I get this right from checking the developers' names & places, the original language for the first one is Czech, and German for the two sequels ?
How's the german localization of the first game ?
Excellent. Germany don't only own some of the best voice actors in the world. The original publisher dtp also used some of them, known and unknown, in the series. The first protagonist for example was spoken by David Nathan. The german voice of Johnny Depp, who was in exchange the inspiration for the first protagonist, Samuel Gordon.

Great how nordic is releasing dtp games here. Hope Drakensang will be here some day too.

LucianX: Black Mirror 2 and 3 were initially published by DTP. ThomNG, if you don't mind me asking:
1. How much of their back-catalog does Nordic own now?
2. Could you guys could release Overclocked: A history of Violence if you own it?
It's impossible to find these days and it looks like an interesting adventure.
Drakensang and Venetica would be welcome as well.

Happy to hear all the Black Mirror games will be here.
+1 for Nordic Games:)

ThomNG: Yes, Gamespy shut down their Multiplayer service and we need to implement a new one first :)

Darksiders needs a DRM free version first before it can come to GOG.

And guess what, Black Mirror III will follow soon.
Good info, thanks. Hopefully Spellforce 2 Faith in Destiny will make it here at some point, too.
Ouch. I really don't know why some poeple love this series so much. I've played all those titles, completing them (excluding BM1, because the first time I died I uninstalled the game, I don't really want to make three hours of gameplay from the beginning) and...they are no scary at all, there's no suspence, some characters including the main one (2 and 3) are awful...yes, it has a good graphics engine, but that's all.

Yes, of course :)
The question is, how much more black could this be? And the answer is, 'None. None more black."

Okay that was stoopid. :P

Niggles: But is there a reason why Titan quest hasn't been released here yet?

Thank you very much, most welcome additions :)

I just realized, reading comments of other users, that Drakensang series and Venetica are also under our wings. I think both games would be well received here, I myself am waiting for both Drakensangs to show up here - already own them on discs, but I´d rebuy them here in an instant.

Will love to see both here (only one DD service sell Venetica and isn't one of the stores I use)

Dankesehr. I'll play the series in German then - when I'm done with my current point&click batch.

"Save early, save often (& don't overwrite your saves)" rings a bell ?
Incidentally, thanks for letting me know that you can die in this ; piques my interest even more. I'm tired of "horror" adventure games where you are perfectly safe every step of the way.

GOG Galaxy? :-)

Thanks for this and the impending BM3 release too. I really love the Black Mirror games.

Darksiders would also be an insta-buy for me if you released it here. Just sayin' :-)

Well, if you're "dumb" enough to not save a game for 3 hours, that's only your problem. :p
Nice release and nice release discount, thank you GOG and Nordic Games!
