Bunny, me, and the Devil makes three.

Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse, the third season of the episodic adventure game following the exploits of the furry freelance police, is now available for up to 70% off on GOG.com! You can have it for as little as $10.49 until Thursday, September 6 at 10:59 AM GMT.

Sam & Max, the freelance police force, had their share of insane adventures in the past. But this time some seriously twisted mystical madness is just about to fall on their lap. Will they be able to discover the secret of the Devil's Playbox, harness the psychic powers suddenly gained by Max, and face the ancient Yog-Soggoth to stop the coming of Armageddon? Well, this last part can be particularly tricky, as the good ole' Soggoth doesn't really have a face.

Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse brings you all five episodes of the Telltale's episodic game's third season. The Penal Zone, The Tomb of Sammun-Mak, They Stole Max's Brain!, Beyond the Alley of the Dolls and The City that Dares Not Sleep are all there and accounted for. The bunny/dog duo is as unpredictable as it ever was, the humor pours out of the screen, and the puzzles are intriguing and creative--the Sam & Max way. Looking for a way to indulge your obsessive clicking disorder? Here's a perfect title for you!

Join the relentless pair of super-sleuths in their most esoteric case yet in Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse, with a discount up to 70%! Head to the promo page for details.
So glad to see this finally here, my favourite season of the three, feels good to own them all at last, along with BTTF.

Fingers tightly crossed for Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People.

DoctorGOGgles: The bug is that Sybil is invisible when you have to talk to her to advance the story in Episode 1. It's not the problem in Episode 5 which was fixed with the patch. Here's the relevant thread in the forum:

Ah, I see. At least people seem to have found a way around the problem. But I agree that this should be fixed, especially since it's already been promised.

sebarnolds: GOG has already dropped prices in the past. I only remember of the Serious Sam games which were 9.99$ for a brief period (a couple of months I think) before dropping to 5.99$. There have been others but I don't remember which ones.
Thanks for the info.

timppu: By the way, nice to see the increasing discount model coming back. I personally like them and they make sense (reward those who own/buy more GOG games), but I think lots of people hated them, even though this model is more or less used elsewhere too.

Fenixp: Yet, the only game I'm interested in from the bunch is BFTF and I'd be much more likely to buy it for 7.50 bucks than I am now. Actually, for that price, I would probably get it. I quite simply can't for 12 bucks. I'd consider that lost sale for GOG, 'cause I won't pay more than 10 bucks for it anyway.
Yeah... but then the other side of the coin, I was only really interested in the Sam & Max season because I don't know yet what the other two games are like. But what the heck, this increasing discount made sure I decided to get all three at the same time. So I just did. I guess that counts as two extra sales, even though I might have bought the two games later as well (I don't know).

I guess every model has its drawbacks and advantages.

I was already clicking "buy" for Wallace & Gromit when I saw it for 5.99 because I already have BttF and Sam&Max directly from Telltale. Then I noticed it's an incremental promo. It's a pity... because I'm not paying 10 bucks on W&G.

Is there any chance someone reading this intends to buy BttF and Sam&Max and would accept gifting me W&G in exchange for another 5.99 game of their choice? If you do, please contact me first just to make sure that someone doesn't jump ahead of you.

Thanks.
It's truly a pity that the best in the series isn't on GOG, and probably will never be, because it was made by LucasArts right?
Good job. All seasons completed.
This is actually my least favorite Sam and Max season but it's still Sam And Max and well worth the purchase price. BTTF is also so good it disproves the line Tom Wilson, the actor who played Biff sings in his song: "Back To The Future 4-Not Happening" because it IS BTTF 4, albeit in interactive animated mode.
Still this Sam And Max is both good as an adventure and will have you falling out of your chair laughing at times, and crying real tears at others. Playing this game is as good as ordering a large pizza with half pineapple passion and half with watermelon only from Meester Pizza.
GOG scored a real home run with this one and with all the Telltale releases this week.
Now hopefully Telltale will make season 4 of Sam And Max and season 2 of BTTF and sell them here as well.
