Decide the fate of Ancaria!

Sacred 2 Gold, an old-school-at-heart action-RPG with combat galore, tons of epic loot, and an engaging struggle between darkness and light, is available 60% off on GOG.com.That's only $7.99 until Monday, August 18 at 9:59AM GMT.

I can feel the disturbance in the energy. It sings to me a sad song of chaos and destruction to come. Are you here to help Ancaria regain its balance? Or will you let it descend into madness of war? It wasn't always like that, you know. This mystical power, the source of all magic and life, was controlled and watched over by the Seraphim and the world was at peace. Then, the angels passed on their knowledge to the High Elves and so it began. It corrupted them, brother turned against brother, empires went to arms, drowning the continent in blood. The energy itself became perilous creating foul and chaotic creatures wherever it spilled, now mutated beasts roam the land praying on simple folk. Will you heed my call, mighty warrior? Are you the one to decide the fate of Ancaria?

Sacred 2 Gold, set two millenia before the epic events of the original Sacred, allows you to hack 'n' slash your way through a vast world full of foes of all shapes and sizes. The amount of weapons and armor you'll have at your disposal is mind-boggling. With plenty of choices between following the light or shadow campaign quests, an addictive levelling system, and multiple character races considerably affecting playing styles Sacred 2 delivers on its promise of hours upon hours of fast-paced fun. Acting as a prequel to the original game, Sacred 2 Gold Edition comes packed with bonus content, including the awesome Ice and Blood expansion adding new regions, a new playable character, and countless new items.

Embark on an action-packed quest to bend the mystical T-Energy to your will and decide the fate of Ancaria in Sacred 2 Gold, for only $7.99 on GOG.com! The 60% off discount is in effect for the next 72 hours.

I always want to feel so sheepish when i'm angry about a company; Then I find out that it's totally unjustified, especially when they fix their sh*t. :P

I would have PM'ed you on their decisions and the voucher but i didn't see a note from you anywhere on this thread; Otherwise you'd have known it was a matter of time to get it.

Anyways, this whole episode is another checkbox on their future deals of 'double check the date/vs hours match up' when they post their deals up. I doubt they lost much (if any) money.
Very true anybody waiting for the last moment wouldn't be buying it at €20 anyway, they would just wait for another sale or buy it elsewhere on sale, so extending it would not cost anything but gain a lot of goodwill. :).
Only reason I waited until the last minute was because I needed to work out my weekly budget first. Still waiting for support to reply. But if they don't, it's not a big deal. I'll just wait until the next sale.

A perfect answer. I personally have money finally for once in my life, but that wasn't always so. In many cases i would have to balance out what i could and couldn't get for entertainment and for a long time i didn't get new entertainment, instead being happy to play the few games i had for hours and hours (Morrowind & Dark Cloud) seeing as they have a lot of play value... But after i got a paycheck which could range from $200-$300, run through my chart of bills and expenses i could then decide if i could purchase something. Sure i might have had $40 laying around, but that $40 was already spent. Gas, Food, Electricity, Rent, etc. It just didn't get put to it's destination at that time. I'm not one to spend a hundred dollars on games and then get an eviction notice because i didn't pay my dues.

Which is why a badly entered end date for a deal you wanted to take advantage of could be devastating.

You'll get your voucher i'm sure of it :)

True enough, but no worries. That in fact was my first forum post ever, never use that kinda stuff. It was only when I thought I didn't get a reply, that I thought of it, because other users might have the same issue.

It just shows that I have to check the forums a bit more (about time too I guess, after more then 2 years)

Cypisss: Unfortunately we cannot extend the sale but if you write to our support in the next 48 hours (that is until 10:00 AM GMT on Thursday, August 21) and put "Sacred 2 Discount" in the title of the ticket we will gladly provide you with the discount you have missed out on. Apologies once again.
What's the general turn around for these support requests? Submitted mine two days ago. But haven't had a reply.
