A cinematic adventure with a happy ending. Or two.

Runaway 3: A Twist of Fate, a story-driven adventure with a twisted plot and movie-like narrative, is now available on GOG.com for only $19.99!

Lady Luck turned her back on Brian Basco. Accused of murder, diagnosed as delusional, put into a mental asylum, and--on top of that--he’s lost his memory. And now he’s presumed dead. Heck, there was even a funeral! But there are some unexplained circumstances to all the events leading to Brian’s alleged death. Gina, his girlfriend, refuses to believe that he’s gone forever and she might be just right. After all, dead boyfriends don’t send texts, do they?

Runaway 3: A Twist of Fate delivers one of the most movie-like experiences adventure games have to offer. But the perfect animation, excellent voice acting, and movie-worthy soundtrack isn’t all that makes this game a gem in its genre. Its designers have been creating adventure games since 1994, so solid gameplay with all the classic elements of the genre come as no surprise in this title. It’s a full throttle chase through a brilliant, puzzle-packed story, and you don’t want to miss the ride!

Join Brian, Gina, and the whole cast of edgy and colorful characters on their insane adventure in Runaway 3: A Twist of Fate, available now for only $19.99!

tfishell: Does the game have music? Because the inclusion of a soundtrack would have (or still could) help to justify $20.
Hi tfishell,

the store page doesn`t mention a separate soundtrack, so I guess the answer on your question is: no.

Well I suppose as others have said, "If they could have included it, they would."

Too few in my opinion :)
Am I the only one thinking this is freakishly expensive?

I am a fan of all the Runaway games, and this one is quite nice, but this is on sale for a lot less almost everywere...

You got it in on a famous online store 11$ (in the USA) or £3,92 (that's 6,11$) in the UK. And I am talking about games on a Disc, not download...

I even bought the entire trilogy + "The Next Big Thing" for 14,99€ on a GOG direct competitor (download service) a few months ago.

I feel quite disapointed in GOG for the price... not the choice of games, as those have been top notch lately.

Enjoy!

1: Are all 3 worth getting?

2: Do the retail versions contain drm?

1 - Yes, they are all good adventure games (the second one is probably the weakest of the bunch), and they all have high production values.

2 - To be honest with you, I have no idea... :) (no always online DRM, that's for sure)
high rated
Here you've got demos
For Runaway 1

For Runaway 2

Thanks klaattu!

Is there a game demo thread on GOG? It'd be handy to have a demo for each GOG game if there is one.

Yes, there is a thread for GOG game demos. It's a little outdated but perhaps you can help it out somewhat? :D
