One warrior. Two souls. Many odds.

Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones the third and final chapter in the tale of the Sands of Time is now available on GOG.com for only $9.99.

It is said, that the Sands of Time are a force too dangerous for a mortal man to tamper with. The young Prince of Persia learned that the hard way, as he sought to use the power of the Sands for good but brought strife and suffering to everything he had ever known and loved instead. The force that he unleashed corrupted the very core of his being. Now comes the time to face the dire consequences of his past deeds. Is there a way to overcome the darkness that is consuming the world and the Prince's soul?

In Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones the protagonist shares his body with the Dark Prince, an ominous and powerful entity created by the corrupting force of the Sands. This gives you a chance to control a second character with its own set of abilities and inhuman powers, required to overcome some of the obstacles in your path. But even in his human form the hero is more dangerous than ever thanks to the formidable whip-like Daggertail, one of the new weapons in his arsenal.

Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones concludes the three-part saga that began in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and was continued in Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within, so take the last chance to wield the Dagger of Time and set things right for only $9.99!
Good to see Two Thrones here without the Starforce protection, now Silent Hunter III please.
Yes. Silent Hunter 3, please.

F4LL0UT: BUT the US version is censored in that at least one of the naked statues was removed or modified. :P
Hahaha... those Americans. Dismembering, blood, gore - hell yeah, more, MORE! Some nudity (on a statue!) - OMG no, it's a sin, seduction of the innocent!

SSolomon: Anyone know if this is the censored version that is on all the other digital platforms? Would love to finally see a uncensored version available digitally.

F4LL0UT: Thiev from the GOG staff just said that it's the uncensored version (which I almost can't believe as only the US version was fully uncut and to my knowledge GOG usually uses the UK releases).

Edit: Oh, okay, now he's not sure. Guess we'll have to either wait for another statement or someone to simply buy this version.
It's Censored 100% Sure!

Odd because I'm pretty sure the nudity in God of War wasn't censored here.

I was talking (joking) in the language of stereotypes... of course they are never 100% true!

BTW doesn't God of War have mature rating? (as opposed to prince of persia)

Ah okay, glad to hear that; given that we're on The Internet it can be hard to tell. ;)

And yes GoW is rated M, but so is every PoP game since Sands of Time, afaik. T-rated games can get away with a little blood/cartoonish gore, but anything more than that brings about an M-rating, usually.

Still i think the officials in America (and i mean officials not people in general) are generally much more strict when it comes to censoring nudity, at least when it comes to movies, especially theatre releases.

Another funny thing for me (i digress here) about censorship is how tolerable is physical violence without blood, and extremely sexually sugestive images without actual nudity. Officials tend to get offended more by nudity, even if it is not erotic, and blood, even if it doesn't appear becouse of intentional violence (say, car crash). Then again non-nude eroticism and no-blood violence is fine. (violence: compare rated R Watchmen to that of Nolan's Batman PG-13, the only difference being blood, hell you can hear bone crushing in Batman). Those ratings are really crewed up.

See here in Europe there are people protesting and stuff but it rarely gets institutinalised, thing very rarely get officialy banned etc. Although I think Australia has the lead in democratic censorship, not America. Censorship in Korea and Japan is so ridiculous its funny though, with all the gore and ero stuff coming from there.

And also we don't have Walmart here...

Hmmm... i guess we in post-communist countries are really sensitive towards censorship. It's mostly religous if all (interestingly though, i rarely if ever hear about religious censorship in US).

Just a reflection. Writing away my boredom on GOG forums :P
Lol just read that a movie THX 1138 was rated R... why, becouse you see boobs for a few seconds? LOL. Srsly. I'd screen that one to my kid (if I had one) any time, though he probably wouldn't understand it if under 14.

Meantime in World of Warcraft (full of violence, and sexual undertones, with ERPG being a symptom) hordes of adolescents ruin game experience for other people.

GOG should make "uncensored" their official policy
