The 2D jRPG genre is alive and well!

Pier Solar and the Great Architects, a true-to-its-roots jRPG with classic turn-based combat and a lengthy story that will entertain you for at least 50 hours, is available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux on GOG.com, for only $14.99.

Pier Solar and the Great Architects was originally designed and developed for the SEGA Mega Drive and SEGA Genesis. Yes, you read that right!! It was actually the only newly developed game for SEGA's 16-bit system in the new millennium. It's not a port, fan translation, or a copy of any other game. Pier Solar is a 100% brand new, entirely original,16-bit RPG. As in most stories in the games of the genre, here too we have a party of young heroes setting out on a simple quest that will evolve into something much, much larger. This journey will demand their courage and wisdom to solve a long-lost mystery while they face the forces of destruction dispatched by an evil man who is trying to change the world for his own good. Through this escapade, they will be reborn as great heroes to protect the universe from a mistaken purpose...

Experience the wonderfully vast and rich world of Pier Solar and the Great Architects, in its current graphically-updated form, for only $14.99 on GOG.com!
So I'm probably not able to run this with my PC from 2005, but I'm asking anyways a question because I'm thinking of buying and gifting this to a friend of mine whom I know can run this. Does this include the Enhanced CD version of the soundtrack and sounds? If it just includes the cart music that's a big shame. Sorry if this has been asked already.
Bit of a necro here but, has anyone found a downloadable manual for this game yet?
Or any idea of when one may show up here? Not being a console gamer some of the things in this game are rather driving me nuts. Playing the demo now but will buy from GOG on Monday given I can figure things out well enough to enjoy it. :{

Thanks

I wrote down the controls on a paper in front of me. A and arrow keys are what you need to start.

There are some decent tutorials, but really, A for select, D for menu, and S for back are what you need.

Thanks for the reply. I have those down but several others such as W, Q, and E don't seem to do much. I'm a bit of a manual freak I guess. ;)

W is to enlarge the map once you get it. Q is for quick buttons (I'm not sure how to set those up), and E is for summoning the guide robot.

It would have been nice if they had Xbox controller support, but apparently the compatibility is more geared for the 6-button Mega Drive one.

Ah, that explains what 'Lossa' is in the control settings!
Thanks again for the reply, that helps a lot.
