A 2D world that's your skatepark.

OlliOlli, a Devolver Digital-published 2D skateboarding game with tons of rewarding and diverse arcade gameplay, is available 10% off for Windows and Mac OS X on GOG.com. That's only $11.69 for the first week.

OlliOlli mixes addictive one-life gameplay with over 120 tricks and grinds across 50 deviously crafted levels, 250 Challenges, and Spots Mode. Not enough for you? Complete all challenges to unlock the super skillful RAD Mode! Rack up the biggest and coolest combos along the way then time your landing to perfection to rule the leader-boards. Just don’t slam on your face (you totally will slam on your face, though). Compete across the world in all modes to get the highest scores on every Level and Spot. The game features a sick hand-picked soundtrack including the Qemists, Dorian Concept and Flako. Who'd have thought jazz and skateboarding would go so damn well together? But then again, who'd have thought that putting four wheels on the bottom-side of a wooden board can bring so much fun and joy to the world?

It's time to slide, kick, grind, and flip in pixel-style with OlliOlli, for only $11.69 on GOG.com. The 10% off release discount offer will last until Tuesday, July 29, at 3:59PM GMT.

JudasIscariot: Well, it's back. Not sure what happened but, for the record, we certainly don't go 'round deleting reviews, whether they are favorable or unfavorable to a given game :)
Erm, I only see two on the gamecard page, and neither are by gertjan77. Could it be hidden due to his negative rep at the moment?

It should be popping back up in a minute or so and no, I don't know why it keeps disappearing but it has never been deleted.

gamefood: I don't see where he had insulted anyone?! A bit bitchy maybe, but not under the line.

btw: I "like" how you wrote "we". Who are you? The unofficial self-called GOG-Fanboy/girl-Elite??? ;-P
It was more how gertjan77 was a brand new user, got the game, and posted the very first review on the game page just shouting that Daily Grind isn't present and so wasn't buying from GOG again. That isn't really the way to handle the situation. If you aren't happy then you go to the relevant party to raise the issue or make a complaint (in this case GOG Support) in order to try to resolve it.

When gertjan77 then began posting here and came out with "Why do I have to be constructive?" (in response to Bavarian), considering his 'review' it just came across as being unreasonable. Contacting support is itself a constructive action as it is seeking some form of resolution, just as Bavarian had said.

As for cal74's "we", that was actually referring to the number of us who had posted in this thread in relation to gertjan77's posts.

But anyway, the GOG gamecard page has been corrected and hopefully gertjan77 has been refunded, meaning that the matter is now rectified.

whatisserton: Instead of posting an entirely hyperbolic review on the game, why not contact GOG. I'm sure if they've mis advertised it, they'll be happy to refund and update the details to include correct information, if it is the case

gertjan77: Who are you, a moderator? Do you work for GOG?
So, erm don;t check GOG for a day and missed your reply.

As per everyone else who's posted before me

No, don't work for GOG, was just trying to give some helpful advice for you.

Based on your post, I assumed that "you" was meant to all the people who replied to gertjan77 comment and, although I did not meant to speak in their names (sorry if it felt like this), I thought I could at least refer to their posts without passing for some kind of GOG illuminati... My mistake :)

More seriously, I did not consider he insulted the guys working at GOG but that he overreacted a bit as you expressed it probably in a better way than I did when writing:

gamefood: Where I would give you right is, that one shouldn't write something when being emotional, but rather cool down a bit and then look further. But I've done this too already before... err.. somewhere in the net... Who not? ;)
