Dignity overboard!

Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail!, the final classic installment of the hottest grope-and-click adventure saga in existence, featuring everyone's favorite hapless wannabe Casanova, is available on GOG.com, for only $5.99

Cruises are particularly popular with horny people. We don't have any science to support that statement, but who needs numbers when the facts are out there in the open, for everyone to see. If you've ever been on one, or even heard about one, you'll know we're not mistaken. It stands to logic as well. Just think about it. The space on the boat is limited, just as the ways to pass time. On top of that, there aren't that many people to choose from onboard. Boredom, limited space, limited choice, unlimited supply of alcohol in the bar--sounds like a great chance for the sorts of Larry Laffer. But will the errant womanizer be able to take full advantage of all the favorable circumstances?

Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail! is the final Leisure Suit Larry game from the classic Al Lowe era of the series, and it's considered to be the best one. The cartoony graphics and fantastic animation alone make it stand out, but it's the witty humor and a scenario full of fun and--ummm--excitement, that make it one of the most memorable point-and-click adventure games of all times.

Do you think you've got what it takes to be a good wingman? Test your skills in Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail!, for only $5.99, on GOG.com.

We also have some good news about the previously released Leisure Suit Larry 1-6 pack. We'll be adding the full-talkie SVGA version of Larry 6 today. Check out the game page, there's a good chance it's already there. If not, it will be available very soon.

TD2k12gogStrike: Just to clarify: The GOG release is the uncut, uncensored version. The only difference between this one and the original CD version I have is that the GOG version works right "out of the box" on Windows 8 so it is far superior in a way.

What made this game kind of risky was the inclusion of several easter eggs displaying additional nudity. Finally, if you found all 32 Dildos in the game AND managed to get 1000 points there was one more easter egg after the credits roll. I think this is the one that could have gotten the game an uprating from M to AO. I think you can read about all this on Al Lowe's website. As for the easter eggs, there are enough guides on the internet on how to unlock them ... ;)
And that the original used Cyber-sniff where as the GOG doesn't. Also does the GOG version actually show that egg as the egg in question has been asked before.
Is there any chance for the original german version? I bought it years ago. Instead of Clinton was Helmut Kohl the joking guy.
Were there any other versions? Italian?

Series completed. Now waiting remake from Replay Games.
Mac version crashes all the time in later of the game. I have cooking contest and rich widow-scene left and EVERY time now, when I try to save game, it freezes for good. No problems before.
ive been trying to find a quote i remembered reading a year or two back about the LSL games and here it is (admittedly late!):

"The first to be treated like a proper game was Sierra Online's Softporn Adventure, an awful text adventure game about a man trying to get laid in a sleazy gambling town. this was later remade as Leisure Suit Larry, although what most people don't realise is that this was more a parody of the original than anything else, and that its designer, Al Lowe was far more entertained by humiliating his new creation than interested in arousing the player at the keyboard."

PC Format, February 2010 - it was mentioned in an article about sex in video games, or rather lack thereof and devs being terrified of sex being present.

e: having said that later on they do mention that "LSL:LFS is a fine adventure game"
im not trying to knock the games in any way i just remembered the quote and wanted to share.
