@waltc: the lips are moving, there is lipsync in the game, it's just far from perfect, especially compared to the high-budget story-heavy games of today. For me, it is decent enough and doesn't bother me (the excellent voice acting helps a lot) but others may think differently. Try watching part of a playthrough (there are many already) to see what I'm talking about.

waltc: @Lukaszthegreat--Please tell me that at least the lips are moving...;) (I do have my standards, I suppose...;))

if there is lipsync then my game is suffering from frame drops and stuttering because i do not see any sync.

the lips move. just like in anime. up down according to the pace of speaking. they are not sync to the actuall lines tough.

think pre-HL2.

Performance issues could indeed be a factor that makes the lipsync look worse. But it could just be that you have an eye for detail and find the lipsync inadequate. In the official forum, the developers said they are using one of the best available programs that does automatic lipsyncing, but of course the quality pales before the (much more expensive and/or time-consuming options) of using mo-cap or doing the lipsync manually, frame-by-frame on each scene.
Just curious if there is any insight on the GOG codes. I emailed 5 days ago and haven't heard from them. Does the code come from GOG or the devs?

Thanks.
My understanding is that the devs will reply to your e-mail with a GoG code. 5 days ago is quite a long time for no reply. Even though they have to go through hundreds of support e-mails they should have replied to yours already, maybe your mail got lost? Try sending them another. Remember, you should send at support@redthreadgames.com not at some other e-mail.

I think it is. I remember reading about it at the RTG forums - all GOG keys are basic edition and the extras are/will be available through the Humble account.
