Blitzkrieg is a real-time battle game taking place during historical events of World War II. You become the commanding officer of a small group of troops in a single battle, or a campaign located all around the world: France, Russia, Northern Africa, and the Far East. Not only will you command your soldiers, trucks, and tanks, but also set up mobile bridges, lay mines, repair units, dig trenches, or if you’re in real trouble, call for air support. It is a real treat for tactical combat maniacs, as you don’t need to bother with supplies or diplomacy to crush your enemies--just use artillery, air support, well-timed maneuvers, 3D terrain, building layouts, weather conditions, and, most importantly, your tactical acumen to your advantage.
