Hello, wanted to see if I could get some recommendations on good site that preview up-coming strategy games as well as progress reports. I follow RPG watch and Rock paper shotgun which give good feedback on both current and upcoming PC games of an RPG nature but I don't know of any in a similar vein but targeted more for strategy.

I don't really use the commercial sites like gamespy or gamespot anymore. They only flag the big news I can get elsewhere and their reviews are questionable at best.

"Out of 8" is a good site for strategy reviews. It does other kinds of games too but it does a lot of strategy games. It does not do previews but it has some of the best reviews of the web for PC strategy games.

metro uk's online site is a good one to go to, used to be game central that run on teletext before they got shut down but they tend to offer honest reviews which i can tend to agree with

Search for 'WTF is {game_name_here}' videos on YouTube. Dunno the guy, but he makes nice videos.

As he is just a gamer, he can't do previews or release time reviews. But his reviews are flatout the best reviews I've read anywhere. Additionally I pretty much share his opinion on gaming in general. It was only because of his reviews I've even tried some games of which I was sure I wouldn't like and boy, I sure loved them.

Highly recommended. He does mostly RPGs but the occasional shooter or strategy game is also included. Nowadays he is basically the only reason I still return to Moby.
