So, I have recently been trying to decide on my next GOG purchase (I only have about $10). I have basically all the Black Isle RPGs and all the Infinity Engine games, as well as all three Gabriel Knights, Divine and Beyond Divinity, and Warlords Battlecry III, as well as the Temple of Elemental Evil and Arcanum. I like a good RPG, but what I'm really looking for is an intriguing plotline, but fantastic gameplay wlll also do. Does anyone have any good suggestions?
If you want RPG, then I could recommend Gothic 2 (first one has some really serious flaws, but some like it more cause of "atmosphere"). And i didn't see in your list Fallout 1/2. It's great classic games as well as most part of your list.

But, I think you should see The Longest Journey and Broken Sword Trilogy.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I own/have played all of those games on disc. Any other recommendations?
Longest Journey or Sanitarium both have good stories but are adventure games.
Whoops, totally forgot to mention I also have Sanitarium...^^;;
If you can get past the initial hurdle of really awkward controls of Die by the Sword, I assure you there's something unique to be found beneath the dirt. No intriguing plot line there though.

I noticed you didn't have Arx Fatalis on that list, now it doesn't have the best story but it is the spiritual successor to Ultima Underworld. Need I say more?

Hmm, DIe by the Sword and Arx Fatalis both sound interesting. I think I'll check those out.
Tex Murphy - Pandora Directive. Not an RPG, more of an adventure game. Fantastic storyline (probably one of the best that I've ever experienced) and interesting, fun & logical puzzles. Don't miss out.

If you like it, you should also play Under a Killing Moon and Overseer. Good games, but not as good as Pandora Directive.
I would recommend two gogs:
- Betrayal at Krondor Pack (classic RPG, includes sequel - Betrayal in Antara)
- Sacrifice (innovative RTS/TPP mix with compelling story)
