Just wanted to note that paying for freeware games is not that pointless. I have worked on a lot of freeware games and academic game projects already (as well as a few small indie games) and I've gotta say: many of these games beat lots of commercial games in terms of quality and developing them consumes a lot of time (a friend of mine has worked for two years on a "small" racing game without having an actual budget and without demanding any money from players). Sometimes it's almost a mistake to publish them non-commercially so it's really not a bad idea to organize this kind of thing. Consider it a donation to overly generous developers. And even if the bundle only reaches like 2000 dollars (which even seems to be the goal here oO) - for a regular person who hadn't intended to make any money from his or her project 10% of such a sum may proof a pleasant reward.

But to make things clear: so far I'm talking about things in general. I don't know any of the games involved in this particular bundle.
