Wow,
this is really the best site I've seen for downloading games! I'm a 1970's "year of construction" and since I've found your page, I din't like downloading games. I don't like the way companies like steam manage the activation of their games.
I don't want be online all the time while playing a game or have to activate it like a Microsoft Operating System.
Sadly most companies now have such an activation. I own one of the greatest Simulation-Collections in the world (if not the greatest - all sims & racing games since 1988 - over 1500 games sorted in alu-cases - all english original versions, cause I don't like german speech in sims ;-), it's horrible), but the last years since the online activations, I haven't bought anything.
I make backup-copies of my originals, cause believe it or not, 3 times it happend, that a CD in my drive disrupted (one was the Jane's Longbow Anthologhy - really hard to get here in Germany).
Those high rpm of modern drives make it possible and the new copy-protections like e.g. starforce don't like tools such as CD-Brake.
And since the new online activation it's allmost impossible to make backups, cause what happend if the company gets bust? You couldn't play the games again!
That's the case I've finished collecting Sims. I really wan't to have Lockon Flaming Cliffs, Black Shark and DCS A-10 (it's a must have for a simulation-freak), but not with this kind of protection!!!
I think your way is the right way for downloading games! I hope your collection of sims will grow in future. This is the way my beloved hobby makes fun again!
