Well, a lot of people are waiting for the game and it's probably in the works at Atari. Atari announced RCT 3D or whatever it's called so the RCT series isn't over. (yet) There are several people and sites claiming this (by several people, it's a lot) [duh]

There was a forum post from the Atari folks in the RCT forums asking what features fans wanted if they was a new RCT, that was back last year or 2 iirc.

That said I hope it gets made and not dumbed down in any bit, I love RCT.

RCT 3D for the 3DS is only going to be a slightly reworked RCT3 for the handheld from what I've gathered so far.

There's no real mention nor confirmation anywhere that there's anything going on with the franchise otherwise. Rumors and hearsay are not to be trusted, unless you like to be disappointed.
