fracturedsanity: Have you given Isomer a look?
avatar
Sachys: Have it actually - though I was annoyed with the always online thing, and the terrible performance when i got it. the last update made it run smoother, but still always online. not seen another update yet sadly.
otherwise worth a look!
Yeah, it's a shame about the online bit, i'm hoping it gets cut when it's complete.

I dont see any reason for it to be there now.
Weird Worlds is good for a game every now and then.

Me either but I'd guess a strange form of game feedback collection.

Nah its definately a DRM - it requires you to be "logged on to your steam account" - even if you are and the internet has been disconnected in the online mode for whatever reason, it wont function.

That is exceedingly lame.
And here I was hoping for a GOG release at some point.

Aye - but at the speed the dev is updating I wouldnt hold out much hope at any rate. it's not like Underrail or Gnomoria where updates are regular, I've seen two for Isomer - and I dont think either added anything other than minor bugfixes.

Edit: yup - both of them in August after the groupees bundle it was on.

fracturedsanity: How about Our Darker Purpose?
I've been eyeing it, thoughI doubt it'll see a deal until the winter sale, if then.
It was in the Humble Weekly )Halloween) bundle. I picked the bundle up for 5 bucks. Includes Home, Knolck-Knock, Vertical Drop Heroes, Betrayer, Five Night's at Freddy's, Betrayer, and Our Darker Purpose.
Thanks for all the suggestions so far, guys. I'm checking the games out...

Slow moving indeed, but I was hoping for like a '17 completion. :P

I saw that one and if I hadn't had most of it already I would've been all over it.

Ah yes, always an issue with Humble (or other) Bundles. I was lucky enough that I had none of them, so jumped on it.

jefequeso: Any suggestions? I'm looking for stuff to pick up during the Steam winter/fall sales.
They don't check the "weird" case but they would go on my "original and atypical games" gogmix if they were here:

I disliked Analogue heavily. :(

DLC Quest.
A short and funny platformer that makes fun of DLC. It provides an hour of decent entertainment.
Normal price is $3, it is currently 66% off.

You want a very good game and cheap?

Try Marlow Briggs, I has some B-series film feeling but it's gameplay is A-grade.

Currently at $0.99
