realkman666: I only look at the minimum wage of a country.

Klumpen0815: Lol, there is no minimum wage in Germany (although we'd REALLY need it, because too many people are working their ass off for 350-400€ per month) and still regional pricing hits us very hard.
O___O

Why do you think there are so many Germans on GoG?
Look around, we are in nearly every thread. :D

gbaz69: Gog no longer has 'same price everywhere', as evident of The Witcher 3, and other new releases.

It is price gouging and/or profiteering, clear and simple. I don't understand why more people don't complain about this.
Because CD Projekt RED got SUED FOR NOT HAVING REGIONAL PRICING.

Complain all you want to GOG, but the real battle is in the courts.
Talking about minimal wages, here the "minimal wage" (Set by collective bargaining, not the legislator) for "average" workers is the equivalent of approximately $21/hour.

You're living the dream, that's so unfair.
I want a minimum wage in my country too, but if we'll have it someday, it will never even reach half of it.

As you know, no good deed goes unpunished...

The only reason they were sued over that is because of their own game, Witcher 2 and the deal they had with Namco Bandai over that. It has nothing to do with regional pricing in general. It's because they didn't live up to the deal that included it.

Besides, they freely decided to do the same thing again with The Witcher 3, again decided to go with Namco Bandai. At this point they've simply given in to regional pricing being 'a thing' that's hard for them to avoid. (No doubt in no small part due to the tax paradise in the Mediterranean they funnel their sales through having eroded over the last years)
