It is price gouging and/or profiteering, clear and simple. I don't understand why more people don't complain about this.

Talking about minimal wages, here the "minimal wage" (Set by collective bargaining, not the legislator) for "average" workers is the equivalent of approximately $21/hour.

I want a minimum wage in my country too, but if we'll have it someday, it will never even reach half of it.

Besides, they freely decided to do the same thing again with The Witcher 3, again decided to go with Namco Bandai. At this point they've simply given in to regional pricing being 'a thing' that's hard for them to avoid. (No doubt in no small part due to the tax paradise in the Mediterranean they funnel their sales through having eroded over the last years)
