I was wondering if you could find random items or do they have to be obtained by getting an achievment. I just want to know beacause I dont really want to buy anything right now

Both.

You begin with stock weapons. As you play and clear a certain amount of class-specific achievements, you win certain weapons.

But you also receive random weapon drops as you play. These could be the achievement weapons, or other new ones that were added with game updates or as part of a promotion.

You mean the strange weapons? well i'm kinda okay with that since if you also want a weapon that counts your kills you have to pay for bragging rights. it's not like you miss much.

I'm not really sure which weapons, those may be them though.

Yeah They're actually just "strange" versions of normal weapons with a title depending on the number of kills you've made with them.
