dune1976: I've troubleshooted everything. The only conclusion I can come up with is that the files on GOGs end are corrupted.
But if it's working fine for everyone else, it can't possibly be corrupted files on the GOG servers. There's got to be another reason.

Namur: Yeah, an iffy connection can easily screw things up as well.

I've troubleshooted everything. The only conclusion I can come up with is that the files on GOGs end are corrupted.
It can't be that or the rest of us would be having the same problem as you. Here's a silly suggestion: have you tried downloading the files to a different location on your hard drive?

Well, speed doesn't always means stability, but ok.

In any case it looks like you'll have to start eliminating stuff to pinpoint the issue. If you have the chance try to download the files from another location or from the same location but to another PC.

Yes, and the files are still corrupted.

I've tried downloading to a different location on my hard drive and the files are still corrupted.
I'm currently on another download attempt. I have deleted VLC media player, and from some reason the .bin files are still coming up as VLC media files. Why is this?

After 17 hours, the game files finally downloaded correctly. Thanks for your help.

dune1976: It's not my power supply. I've got a 750W power and don't have any problems running graphic intensive games such as Crysis, and COD Modern Warfare with my GTX 460. I gone and tested other applications--no problems. I've deleted, re-downloaded, and installed other applications with no problems either. I'm only having problems with downloading games from GOG. I also recently downloaded Bioshock 2 with the STEAM client and don't have any problems with that game. I'm confused.

GameRager: Maybe something is going bad and you don't know it....just because your stuff is new doesn't mean it ain't broken.
The game files finally download correctly. It took nearly 17 hours and countless attempts. Your help was appreciated.
