theonlyone.338: Its not so much that I dont like JRpgs. I like them but I dislike puzzles. Puzzles is what they have. If they didnt have puzzles I would likely finish them. However they do so I dont. Its ok if I can figure out the puzzle but if online assistance doesnt help then I have little chance of finishing the game.

Having to constantly look online to finish a game isnt a very good way of making a game. I have played Breath of Fire 3 and I liked it but again too many puzzles. I have played Final Fantasy 1 and again you have no idea where to go. All of those games arent very good.
Yeah, unfortunately that seems to be most rpgs. Though if you liked Castlevania Curse of Darkness, I could recommend Lament of Innocence if you haven't tried it yet. I was disappointed that they dropped the experience/level-up system from previous games, but it still has stats and equipable items. It's a lot harder without being able to grind for levels, but I liked it more than Curse of Darkness.

theonlyone.338: Most games I play I never complete on all platforms-Pc, Xbox, Ps2 and GBAdvanced and Psp. The best games are the ones that can be beaten without frustration! :)

AnimalMother117: RPGs on the GBA and the DS always gave me plenty of frustration, so I've hardly beaten any of them. Final Fantasy games especially on the DS were always rather challenging for me. Since I just thought of RPGs on the GBA I have beaten though I will just briefly list them:

Summon Night: Sword Craft Story
Super Robot Taisen: The Original Generation (Not a traditional RPG, but still.)
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones

Actually, the only Gamecube RPGs I have never beaten are Tales of Symphonia and Phantasy Star Online III. ToS is just way too long...still chewing on that cut.
I am currently playing on Portable Castlevania Circle of the Moon. I also own Shining Soul 1 and 2. I heard about Sword Craft story and was thinking of ordering it. I am going to finish Circle of the Moon first. Thanks for tip!

I own the following games on Pc but couldnt get into them-

Dungeon Siege 1 and 2, Sacred 1 and 2, Titan Quest, Silverfall, Diablo 2, Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity, Vampire Bloodlines (Wont install), Vampire Redemption, Hazen, Dimensity, Avencast, Call of Cthuhlu, Konung 2, Planet Alcatraz, Geneforge 3-5, Avernum 1-6. Avadon 2, Icewind dale 1 and 2, Planescape torment.

The games I have played, finished and just love are diablo 1, Torchlight 1, Baldurs gate 1, Avernum escape from the pit, Geneforge 2, Avadon 1 and Kotor 1 and 2/Jade empire.

theonlyone.338: I dont like JRpgs and pretty much any true rpg not made by bioware. I just got stuck with Final Fantasy 1, Breath of Fire 3 and more. The problem with true rpgs is that if you cant figure out a puzzle you cant play the game. Besides action rpgs are about combat not puzzle solving. All the jrpgs start out good but like all of them you will never likely finish them.

Most of the rpgs on console I cant get by so if I get stuck in a puzzle I give it two or 3 tries then sell the game on ebay. I have too many games I will never finish, lol.
a ha I don't blame you since the desert of death is one of the most evil spiteful things in a game ever (someone thought it would be funny to deliberately misinform you)

though, if you can finish Baroque you're probably better than you think, since trying to reconfigure the tower and advance the storyline is kinda obtuse.

Offhand I can only think of Drakan: The Ancient Gate for ps2, which I haven't played. Maybe Drakengard, except it's bad and only really worth playing for how grimdark/f'd up it is.

Though you'd probably like the LotR Two Towers and Return of the King GBA games.

Circle of the Moon's a good game, be sure to play Rondo of Blood if you ever get the chance, it's my favorite Castlevania. Sacred seemed really cool, then it gives me nothing but fits. I tried really hard to enjoy the D&D games, just never could find them terribly compelling. I like the Fallout style games like Arcanum, I also enjoy Diablo clones, even if they have a harder time holding my interest.

Sword Craft Story I find to be a very fun and charming RPG that is too short to outstay its welcome, as much as I do like RPGs some just don't know when to quit. However, there is a post-game segment, the main story though is not too long.
