Maybe there is some trick I haven't found out about yet, but whenever I visit a product page, I am missing a link to the game's forum. Usually, whenever I am interested in a certain title, I want to read some opinions about it or want to check if there are any known issues, but I always have to go to "Community" and enter the title's name manually.

So why isn't there a link to the forums on every product page?

And if I am wrong here and such a link does exist: Why am I too stupid to find it?

This is a common request. You're not missing it, because it simply doesn't exist. Why doesn't it exist? Only gOg knows...

I guess it's that because opinions about the game are in the 'reviews' section, game's forum contains mainly discussion about problems, solutions etc. So it's not necessary in buy-or-not-to-buy process to look into there and after the purchase the link to the forum appears in 'Game specific forums' section. After all it's good how it's now.
Could be, but I think it also falls under the category of "do your research beforehand", and a link would make that a bit easier. Cuts both ways, though: it might scare off some potential customers if there are a lot of unresolved problems, but it could also sway some buyers when they see, for instance, threads describing mods, gameplay, etc.

But you're correct, and there IS a way to access that info pre-purchase, but it's just not as quick-and-easy as it could (should?) be.
You can vote for it on the wishlist:

While I respect your opinion, there are many people who want to know more about problems/issues of a product before (!) they buy it. Also usually there is lots of additional information available in the forums, such as links to mods, suggestions on similar games, discussions on the difficulty level etc. -- things I like to read about before I buy a game.

After all I think it wouldn't hurt anybody, if there was such a link on the product pages. The ones who need it can use it, the others can just ignore it.

What browser are you using? And do you use custom scripts?
Depending on your answer, I might have a semi-solution for you. ;-)
