For some time I can no longer use gog downloader. If I try to download a game does not start at the bottom of the bar is the gray square and if you pass the mouse disappears. I'm not getting any error message. Simply does not start. I have tried several times to uninstall and reinstall it, to provarie various compatibility. does anyone know how to help me? Thank you.

Can you check whether you have the latest version of the GOG Downloader which is 3.6.0.0, might be a possibility that it is not functioning properly because of it being an older version.

I have a problem with GoG downloader too.
It refuses to start with the current version.
I'm using Linux Mint though.

Hi, I had the exact same issue a few months ago, GOG support sent me this solution:

"Please completely remove all files created with Downloader installation, specially that folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\GOG.com "

Although in my case the folder I had to remove was a different one, you may have to delete this one instead: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\GOG.com

The folder apparently varies depending on the Windows version you have but one of these should do the trick.

The first path is used in Windows 2000 and XP, the second is used in Vista and newer.

Thanks, I actually assumed that but was confused because support actually knew that I was using Windows 7 and still sent the directory from pre-Vista versions. Guess they must have gotten confused (it took several mails, probably because I made a mistake describing the steps I had taken before contacting support). But I'm not complaining, the guys are great.
