Indeed there's no confirmation email sent after you contact GOG.com, however I can assure you that we've received and read your message - as a matter of fact, the part regarding readable text alternative in our emails was actually forwarded to me some time ago as a part of customer feedback :) and FYI there's a basic plain-text alternative in all our messages since few weeks now, so if your client doesn't support html emails you at least get the link to see the newsletter on our website.

As for the email support system, this is one of the key things we want to improve a lot in the upcoming months. Having email confirmations is definitely a must but there's a lot of other things to improve as well (we definitely want to offer the best experience on every front, both before and after sale). Actually one of the developers starting this Monday will be totally dedicated to the support system revamp :).

PS: Best wishes in 2011 - I hope you will have better experiences with GOG.com in the New Year (we'll definitely work hard to make sure of it :).

Yes, the log of support email messages on My Account is definitely coming back as a part of the improved support system. Sadly I can't give you any ETA today, mostly as it's not only tied to support system revamp but many backend improvements as well. But as I've mentioned earlier, this is one of the key improvements for the upcoming months so rest assured we haven't forgotten about it.
