Gods be praised, the Witcher!

Geralt of Rivia, the elixir-driven slayer of the beasts, the non-altruistic hero of the folk, the ever-rebellious troublemaker, and the rugged woman-charmer might be the most mesmerizing character ever to grace the screens of cRPG gamers. If you--by some cruel twist of fate--missed the second part of his thrilling adventures, we have great news for you. [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/the_witcher_2]The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, Enhanced Edition--the non-linear gritty and mature action-RPG-- has, as of now, its price reduced to $29.99/€29.99/GBP19.99/AUD29.99. (The fair price package for Europe includes one $9.99 extra game). If you are a cRPG fan you're now left with little excuse not to experience the game described by 1UP as "one of the most memorable and best written fantasy video games you'll ever play".

A devious scheme is in the works, leading the land towards anarchy, civil war, and reign of hatred. Someone is assassinating one province's king by another. The high and mighty heads--those more, and those less worthy of a crown--are rolling alike. And whenever such things start to happen the Witcher Geralt of Rivia proves to be the perfect scapegoat. Life's just a perfect bitch for him that way. So once again persecuted and hunted, tossed between the elven rock and the royal hard place, falling out of the frying pan of wicked politics and into the fire of mischievous magic, the White Wolf has to fight for what he believes is right. But the distinction between right and wrong is often very hard to make

The most enthralling, seasoned, and elaborate cRPG experience of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, Enhanced Edition awaits you, now for only $29.99/€29.99/GBP19.99/AUD29.99!
Great news!
My computer have problems with Witcher 1, but it's good to know that in the future I can buy this here.
Already got it, but haven't played it, not even the first one, 'cause sadly my ancient gaming laptop cannot run them. Someday...

Gonchi: ... but, wait... "release the Kraken" was originally from Clash of the Titans...
these youngsters... pfff... :D
Darn it! I only just bought this a week or two ago. Oh well, it's well worth the extra tenner anyway. I must admit the first Witcher drew me in more but they're both brilliant games.
Throw the humongous extra content in, this new price is indeed a steal.
This is actually what I paid for the full original boxed version with all the smashing extras like the game guide, coin, map and paper craft stuff! For some reason my local Blockbuster had it on sale just a few weeks after release...

What a bargain and an instant purchase :)

However, I eventually ended up spending £1K building a new PC to get it working in all it's glory :(

Getting the enhanced edition DRM-free straight from the developers is also a bargain though. If you are in two minds, don't be - it's one helluva game!
