Today President Alan García provided details about an incident in which he allegedly slapped a hospital volunteer. Peru's local press has reported that García slapped 27-year-old Richard Gálvez for shouting “corrupt” at him during a visit to a Lima hospital last Saturday.
García is remembered for a 2004 incident in which he kicked Jesus Lora, a man with mental problems, for blocking his way during an union rally. Articles in Peruvian newspapers also mention a political rally in 2001, when García kicked a photographer because she allegedly distracted him with her flash.

Well I guess that's a better track record then Fujimori who is being jailed for the next 25 years on human rights abuses......
