Duh, another "music game". Usually this translates to "a very generic arcade game playing music of your choice in the background". Not interested. I enjoyed Audiosurf for a few days, especially since it allowed me to both listen to my new CDs and play a game at once (without hurting the game experience that is), but all music games "powered by your music" I played after Audiosurf were sheer disappointments. Watching the trailer I don't see how this one is going to be an exception.
Question to empty Clip:

What exactly was the motivation or inspiration for you to put female eyes on the cover of the game?

wolfsite: I have played Groovin Blocks (From same developer) and it was pretty fun with some strategy elements.

I do have some questions for the GOG team regarding this game though.

1. What type of music files does this game support (MP3, WAV, OGG, etc) as I have played music games in the past that had difficulty or did not recognize certain audio file types.

2. Is it known if this game will appear in a bundle pack such as Humble Bundle or Indie Bundle? I know some people were rather upset when a previous indie title got released here then in a bundle at almost the exact same time.

JudasIscariot: The supported file types are as follows: MP3, M4A & AAC (runs using QuickTime), OGG, WAV, FLAC, WMA, AIFF, WV, APE.

Hope this helps :D.
Thanks for responding.
This looks interesting, looks like a good game to play when you need an adrenaline boost. Might give it a try later.

Been awaiting this one for quite a while... I'm a sucker for "play my music" games - have AudioSurf / Shmusicup / Beat Hazard / Turba / The Polynomial / Rhythm Zone... canit wait for this... SHUTUPANDTAKEMYMONEY
I have a couple of questions for the developers:

1. How will the level progression be handled? Is each song it's own little world or part of a bigger story?

2. Now that "Symphony" is about to be released, what does the future hold for Empty Clip Studios?
I think this might be the first release of an indie game on GOG that I've never heard about before, so kudos for that. But I have to admit it doesn't look all that original to me, considering all the other indie music arcade games out there; I'd expect it to turn up in an indie bundle sooner or later and not even as the leading title.

I think that you play with your own music from your HDD / iPod , pretty much like in Beat Hazard or Audiosurf, if you know those games.
Here are my questions:

Why did you choose to release your game on PC and most importantly on GOG.com?
I see you are developing a new Unannounced Addictive Game. Can you tell something about this project? Can we see red birds, ponies, demons, zombies or Nazis in this game?
What kind of game genres are your thing? Puzzle, Shoot 'em up and musical games at least. Anything else?
What do you think about Mac or Linux compatibility? Is it in or out? Should you consider it?
What was the last game you really enjoyed?
Oh, my question:

What's the hardest part in programming a music game? I mean, it's not easy to make a game that fits the beat and rhytm and doesn't get extremely hard on faster tracks, etc etc. How do you do that? Sorcery? ;)
Do we need a game like this ?

It is the developers decision to offer the game in a bundle, not ours, but we don't see this happening with Symphony. And I can assure that we were "rather upset" as well.
A question to the devs:

Why should I choose this over Audiosurf and Beat Hazard?
Question for the devs:

From the trailer, Symphony seems to have deeper mechanics than other games that use the player's music collection. Am I right about this? If so, why did you take that route?
