I sure hope they give the script another pass or three before release. I caught at least two errors in the trailer and I wasn't even looking for them (an "it's" (it is) where it should have been "its" (possessive), and "ammount" instead of "amount"). The old pixelated font (yeah, yeah, "retro", whatever) on top of HD graphics is a bit off-putting as well.

Wishlisted for now (I already own the three offers for the pre-order, so no incentive there), might get it when it's cheap.
well the cartoons look funny :D but i have loads of questions first:

I saw the pre-order info for RANDAL'S MONDAY

i do have some questions:

1) is a pre-order possible with prepaid (paysafe)

and then: about those very heavy recs.

2) the game looks cartoony(looks great) , and i dont see any physics
so why are these req. so high? (quad core for a none 3d none physics game?)

i noticed this applies to 90% or more of all new games made today
so i wonder will my pc be able to run it ?

assuming i would be able to run it :D
i alread own deponia i bought it here on GOG
so then i would either choose

A NEW BEGINNING: FINAL CUT (wow big requirements)

Minimum system requirements -

That trailer has been around a while, so it's possible such errors have been fixed since then, but that is just speculation.

It's actually the same trailer I saw back in December 2012, albeit with different music.

stg83: Here is a little behind the scenes look at the voice recording sessions for Randal's Monday (not a Clerks game) featuring Jeff Anderson and Jason Mewes.

Wow I don't know whether to be excited or scared - on one hand 'Randal', Jay and at least the likeness of Silent Bob in a computer game! Yay!
On the other hand even Kevin Smith sucks at being Kevin Smith these days, I'm not sure 6 Spanish guys in a garage are going to be any better, so it could be a travesty of a travesty!
Worth a look either way though, I guess!

As I already own all of those other games and this is regionally priced, I have no interest to pre-order. I'll probably get this from sale though, although the theme seems to be worse than in other Daedalic's adventures.

djdarko: Everytime I see the name of this game, I'm hoping that it's a game based on Randall Graves from Clerks.
avatar
stg83: Well Jeff Anderson does voice the main character but its not really related to Clerks. Jason Mews also has a cameo in the game. So there are references to Clerks.
At one screenshot there are Jay & Silent Bob! :D

If I would have got 1€ every time I asked this myself and in several threads here...
I recommend you this site, there you can give in your machine's specs and you get the result, if you can run the game or not.
Also take a look at the developers own sites for their specs...
And check if a demo exists; this way I bought in the end a couple games, which I had not bought If I'd relied only on the gog.com given sys req's.

Welcome to GOG gamesfreak :)

Ahh, finally got around to watching this, and the bits of the game they show in there have a decent font, so that takes away one of my worries.

I have to agree with that, a Clerks 3 from the current Kevin Smith of Red State and Tusk doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. At this point I trust 6 Spanish guys more then Kevin Smith though to make a good game referencing Clerks since it is their passion project. :)

And what about Cop Out? God DAMN that was bad!
Zack and Mirri was a bit underrated though, even if it did feel more like a Seth Rogen film than a Kev Smith film

Yes, you can pre-order with paysafe.
The trailer is awesome! Cool art and stuff. I'll preorder it asap!
Keep 'em coming, GOG and Daedalic.
You're one of the coolest modern publishers!
Love your games (and just realized I own them all. whoa)

...

And where's Dead Synchronicity? :P
looks like those cheap adventure games in the Czech Republic ("Polda") that were dull and boring but people bought them only for the famous people's dubbing :P

Yeah Cop Out was just atrocious though I did enjoy Sean William Scott's scenes in it :P. Zack and Miri was the last good film that Kevin Smith made unfortunately.
