Dangerous developments in the dumpsters of disorder.

Deponia 2: Chaos on Deponia, the extravagant sequel anticipated by the fans of the cartoony point-and-click delight that was Deponia, is available for digital pre-order on GOG.com for only $13.99--that’s 30% off the full price, only during pre-orders! Or, if you’re the completionist type, you can even get both the original game and the sequel packed together with an amazing 40% discount!

The game picks up the story more or less where the previous game has ended. Once again we join the big-mouthed smartass Rufus and Goal, his love interest from the higher spheres of the planet, on their exciting journey through the landscapes of the trash-covered planet. After just recently saving the world from certain doom, our characters would seem to deserve some kind of a closure and a little time off, but the story forces them to take action against even more ominous menace threatening Deponia. And just to make things worse, Goal faces a serious identity crisis. It's not that she's not entirely herself, no. There's just much more of her then usual. Yup, it’s that serious!

Deponia 2: Chaos on Deponia brings back everything you loved about the first game and then it raises the bar even more. It's all there--the clever puzzles, the beautiful cartoony graphics, the top-notch voice acting, the brilliant humor, and the outstanding characters--but this time, it all feels even more vivid! You'll feel invested in the story and the protagonists as you explore the trash-covered world on the edge of chaos. Point-and-click adventurers, puzzle solvers, comedy fans! Don't miss out on this wonderful journey!

Pre-order Deponia 2: Chaos on Deponia now on GOG.com for only $13.99--that's 30% off the regular price--and prepare for yet another crazy ride across the Deponian junkyards. Or you can grab both Deponia games at once for a whopping 40% discount!

By any chance... that update isn't compatible with an early save, is it? For instance, no sound distortions, missing character images, sounds on a loop... stuff like that.

No matter. I'll just tart from the begining. Shuldn't take more than half an hour to reach my last save point.

1.0.1.5? It looks like the same patch I played with yesterday. And the mine puzzle is still broken.

I am not sure since I am at home and I only have my netbook here. I haven't heard of saves being affected but as with all patches there is a risk that saves from a previous version may or may not cause unforeseen problems.

Masterbot: And I don't get what point you are trying to make about the price. 20$ is not a lot compared to the work put into it and the rather niché market Point'n'Click games have. The Versions on Gog are even cheaper then buying it at the onlinestore of Deadalic. So at what point have they been "raising the prices"?
I was talking to some friends about it the other day, how for the longest time GOG's games used to always be under (or at) $10, and now they're getting tons of games that are upwards of 15 to 20+ dollars. The whole point of coming here to GOG in the first place was that I could find great games for low prices. So part of my frustration is that GOG is bringing in games I might be interested in, but no longer within my price range.

Also, I do not know what their first game went for, but it seems to me that every time Daedalic releases a new game, they raise they price. I've seen a couple of other adventure game makers get into this, including the folks who made the Runaway series. First game was like $10 and the latest one was around $30.

In the end, however, it's all a moot point because I can't even play Deponia 2 on my computer, even if I could afford it. Also, my comments about the price are the non-sale price.

JudasIscariot: ~snip~
Come on. Stop ignoring the language questions for Chaos on Deponia. This is really annoying. Carsten from Daedalic said, that german language will be included. Your Facebook Page staff even promised a german customer a refund if the german version is not included. Your shop page says english only and the GOG staff is ignoring language questions as usual... Sorry Guys, i love your site, i really want to support you, i even want to buy the first Deponia in this bundle again (i own the steam version), but this lack of language suppport is a dealbreaker again...
