Hello,

This is a  warning for Roman5 and people who create topics like this one - we've recently introduced automated anti-spam functionality, based on user reports.

Creating a thread whose opening post gets marked as spam will cause the topic to be deleted.

Also, if this results in the user becoming marked as a spammer, based on a few more factors, our system will permanently delete all of that user's posts.

So please be careful what you write and what topic you create in future.
Let me clear up some confusion ;)

- since Holidays, only registered users are allowed to post on the forums

- nofollow should be added soon to posts by low-rep / new users (if it's not there yet)

- the anti-spam bot mentioned in earlier posts temporary deletes a post in very rare cases, ONLY and only if multiple checks were matched (which we can't disclose as we don't want to help spammers out there). As you can see Roman5 post didn't disappear even though it received a lot of spam votes. However, we were notified about it in minutes after it was posted. Also, unless you will purposely "dress" your post as a real looking spam, the post doesn't stand a chance of being deleted, even with the help of thousand-people-strong bury brigade.

- still, since it was obvious for us that there are people out there who will try to abuse the system and break the forum by spam-voting non-spam posts, we log every single spam vote. If we'll notice repeated cases of people trying to bury posts that aren't spam, we will review such cases in detail and in result we might ban people trying to abuse conversations on the forum.

Long story short, please use the "mark as spam" option carefully and responsibly :)
