I just wanted to say that I would like a page dedicated to the news. I think it's ok that you now have the headlines on the side of the page, but there should be a link to a whole-page size display of the headlines so that it's easier to read.

The tiles in the new headlines strip compound the difficulty in reading the news, and make a page view even more necessary.

I guess that voting for this is a good step, but it doesn't really cover what I was saying. I think it's different to just whine about "going back to the way things were," and to say that," hey, this is alright the way it is now, but I think it could be better and incorporate what is good about both approaches."

Also, I don't think the voting system is very effective because there are so many different variations on ideas and wishes and comments that it all gets lost. This is why there are issue-specific threads in most forums.

results are not the same. besides, they should be shooting for a site that is more usable without zooming in on the corner of a page.

a news page with very clear dates, linear.

I too find the current news section hard to read. Something a little more legible for quick scanning would be appreciated. :)
