ScotchMonkey: Yeah our mayor was Rob Ford who was basically a drunker and fatter George W. Who also smoked crack from time to time (this actually happened and Toronto police have the tape). He was a spectacular mess and the media lapped it up with both hands.

tinyE: The former Mayor of our capital Washington D.C. was caught smoking crack on video as well.

Six months later he was RE-ELECTED! I kid you not. :P

Oh yeah I remember that. I don't really mind it, they were both poor mayors for many many other reasons. This just added to the shit show.

Oh no, it's totally legal for them to ALREADY be convicted... which would SEEM unbelievable, since as a convicted felon you can't VOTE.
