i recently installed rise of legends on my new pc and noticed that hardware shadows look horribly pixelated. tried any setting and all available drivers for my card. nothing worked. i finally turned hardware shadows off and went on.
sometime later i installed heroes of might & magic 5 and guess what... the shadows look pixelated. and so they do in homeworld 2, supreme commander, heroes of annihilated empires ....
i searched the web for answers, but no solution. found out that most people are having this with ATI cards, but mine is a GeForce gtx 550 ti.
strange thing is i remember having nice looking shadows on my old pc so i checked how the games look like there and noticed the shadows are pixelated too now :/

i feel frustrated as nothing seems to work and i'm having this issue on two different machines... one that should easily render dynamic shadows and the other one that used to do so...)

anyone else having this?
