The art style seemed a lot more whimsical than their other games, so I figured it would be a lot less dark, both in how the story works & mechanics.
Still, I'll have to give that game a try at some point. There are too few games that dares to just be off the wall bonkers that are being released these days.

Has the English translation ever been "improved"? I noticed there's also a Polish one released in 2011, anyone tried it and could comment on the quality?

I think the translation project has been abandoned (which is too bad, the game really looked interesting).
