I am about to return to this, and would like to know if there is anything I should be aware of, game breaking bugs or otherwise, before actually playing this game.

In the meantime I guess I'll read the threads in the Silver sub forum.

EDIT: My goodness... so many threads about crashes in the Silver sub forum.
I heard horror stories about the game not running well on dual/quad core pc's. Also there is something to do with a Bell that is a game breaking bug. I'm sure i read about a dialogue glitch also.

runs fine on a quad core.

it has the telescope movie bug (not game breaking) i am at the bell, havent tried that yet.
but there was a patch for it i believe.

So gameon you have not finished the game yet?

lugum, I assume the patch is somewhere in the Silver sub forum?

I've not started it yet. But i have had trouble with tomb raider 1 and anacrhonox recently. And my sanitarium crashes alot. So i'm scared to try silver to be honest.

You might as well give it a go. It might work fine on your pc. If not, then contacting support and letting them know the issue would hopefully help them solve the issue with the game.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned Beyond Good & Evil?! Even with the GOG wrapper there were still graphical anomolies in every frame, not to mention how stretched everything was if you wanted to play in anything other than 4:3 (despite "native" support).
