Pemptus: The essence of geekdom in the attachment.
Using facebook/twitter is nerdy? Since when? =P I'd actually think that geeks typically avoid the sheep trappings. I know I do.

SirPrimalform: Well the most obvious one for me is probably music geek, considering I... actually have a Neutral Milk Hotel t-shirt (have another look at the illustration for music geek). I'm also a bit of an encyclopaedia geek and love to fill my head with irrelevant facts from wikipedia.
I am far from a music geek, but I did know who Neutral Milk Hotel is, I suppose (though I can't say I'm a fan, just deleted the last song I had of them off my phone).

No, they're not actually that obscure, I was more just amused that they were using that as an example and that I actually had a NMH t-shirt. If it'd been an Olivia Tremor Control or Gerbils t-shirt it would have been a bit better.

Hm, the only one of these descriptions that's remotely fitting for me would be the Film Geek. (Although I'd consider myself kind of a Indie Games, Freeware and Adventure Geek, Internet Geek, Music Geek, Comic Geek, Board Game Geek, Language Geek and sometimes Bookworm, too, just not anywhere near the types they describe.)
