Im thinking about buying a couple games myself (once I get the money) and I just wanted your guys opinion on them, the games are: Arcanum and Robinsons Requiem

Arcanum's a good game, worth the 5.99 price. It is a flawed game even with the fan patches, and by no means one of the greatest RPG's ever, but it's good. It has a relatively steep learning curve that could take you time to learn, but once learned the mechanics work well. I'd say it's a solid B level cRPG with some great ideas.

I'm not sure what you mean by the greatest...Arcanum is on my top ten list. Personally, I didn't find the learning curve steep but to each his own.

My opinion on games like Arcanum is that's why GOG exists. For six bucks, try it and see for yourself.

BTW, I read an article recently that stated that Steam considers $10 to be "impulse buy territory" and then I come to GOG and people fret over $6.

Arcanum is an absolutely excellent game and one that you should definitely buy if you enjoy RPGs. Big world to explore, interesting and unique setting (not many games use a steampunk setting), and lots of freedom in how you can build your character and play the game.

I bought it to finished my Black Isle collection. I wish I waied for a sale. Good rpg.

Arcanum seems pretty good. I only played for a couple hours to try it out so I don't have much of an opinion on it.

Arcanum is on my wishlist. It seems like it would be fun to play, even with today's standards in gaming. Plus, I approve of the steampunk setting.
