The secret behind the game is there is no good ending. There's just endings. There's a reason the "one chance" is vague...

I died with my daughter on a park bench. Man, that was sad. At least I was there for her, I suppose.

I did too, the first time. I'm not sure she survives even if you work alot. She is in the exact same position as your dead daughter if you all die.

Oh, you can replay, just delete your LSO objects (you can use Better Privacy extension for Firefox to do this if you need).

Even after I dedicated every day to work (except the second, missing work that day is unavoidable), and saved myself, the game told me that day that I HAD one chance.

Yeah it always says that on the last day so far as I can tell. It always says "You" which seems to be the singular form. Note, you neglected yourself and your family the entire time. Saving yourself didn't accomplish much. That is meant to say something, imo. We all have one chance with limited days, how will we spend them?

By the way, the game restarts when I refresh the web page, because I have Flash cookies disabled. ;)

Yeah, it does for me as well. If you have Flash LSOs disabled (through Adobe's website or via an extension like Better Privacy) you can replay to your heart's content.
