I have stopped tracking responses, the data doesn't suggest any link whatsoever between number of games owned and support for the new changes. This type of poll would never really suggest anything because it is completely unscientific, but was curious as to whether there was at least some anecdotal evidence but there is not even any anecdotal evidence of there being a link.

I have a theory, and am posting this thread just to see if there is any anecdotal evidence to support or refute it. The problem is my position on this is well known, and therefore those who disagree with me (i.e. those that are OK with the new changes) are more likely not to click and enter the thread, so that's one big damper that goes even beyond the fact that any responses will still just be anecdotal.

But, I was wondering if folks would post two things for me:

1) An "OK" or a "Not OK" with the new regional pricing.

and

2) The approximate number of games in your library as follows:

A)500+
B)400-499
C)300-399
D)200-299
E)100-199
F)less than 100

Thanks for any responses, and please, if we can, it would be nice to leave the debates to the other threads and just post the answers. If not, well, thanks for reading. :)

EDIT:

Oh, almost forgot, for me it is:

1) Not OK
2) C

By the way, agree or not, this is a link to a commenter who made IMO one funny ass video about the situation, and I highly recommend any who like to laugh out loud watch it.

Not OK --- EDIT, a few days later: Shock and anger has passed, now in "let's wait and see" territory.

1) I'm ok with this and see it as a step forward in the right direction.

Regional prices means lower prices in the long run for people who like the game Worldwide. Why should someone have to pay 59.99 EU for the same game in Europe just because they charge $59.99 in America? Doesn't make much sense, and that is what has been happening.

59.99EU doesn't equal $59.99

Wait, what ?
It's what's happening, for them right now 39,99$ = 39,99€.
OK I'm going to say OK, but only because there's no option for "OK if it turns out the way GOG says it will, but I've got my concerns"

1)

I'm *not* okay with 100-150% markups just because I happen to be Australian.

2)

I've got about 80 in my account at the moment.

1) As far as GOG is concerned, i am ok with it because i know it will bring more games to GOG and if the regional price is too high, i don't have to buy the game - it's better having that choice as opposed to not having the game here at all.

But I am definitely opposed to regional pricing in general, those dumb asses that want it seem to forget that's what the international currency exchange that every other industry uses, is for!

OK

I'm here for the games. Not the drama, nor politics. I'll vote with my wallet.
