I believe I saw this first on "General Chat" here on GOG: Map of Metal. If you haven't got the ability to access Pandora, then this may be your best bet at finding similar bands to ones you like.

Note: I don't listen to, well, any music myself. So I can't verify the quality of the map. I just like the pretty pictures. :P
