i know i ask for a fair bit of help but this one has me stumped

the game is Codename Panzers Cold War, i can install the game fine but when i try to play it for the first time it says it needs to be run by the admin, but there is only 1 acc on this pc thus i am admin, i noticed its got something to do with TAGES

Right click on the executable and click run as admin. If the game still doesn't work, contact TAGES. If it still doesn't work and you can't get your money back, you just learned a lesson why so many people are against DRM.

Are you using Windows Vista, by chance? The UAC in Vista does strange things with some software. If you haven't already, try disabling UAC briefly before you try to run it.

I've had all manner of programs that Vista wouldn't run with the UAC on, from old DOS programs up to windows XP stuff. It's worth a try.
