i played the demo of nox now, i have sacred already, so among the both i highly recommend nox its pretty fun and cool, just pretty much charge attacking everything in sight :D, sacred is a pretty deep game as it goes kinda becomes a bore.

too bad that its multiplayer cant be used :(
What I didn't like much about Sacred is that this huge world to explore becomes kinda grindy and the animations... I don't know, there's something odd about them. It's like characters are jumping a bit when they run, as if they were sped up a little and it feels unnatural. I didn't finish the game, kinda got lost in the middle and I don't know if I bumped up on a main quest bug or what, but i didn't feel like replaying an old save. Should pick it up one day when I'm bored and start with a new class.

Nox I played it three times, once with each class, finished it with two of them, didn't finish with the third nor played multiplayer with it. I recommend it. I remember quite vividly the way arrows flew on that game and the sparkly particle effects.
I played Nox as the Warrior class (or fighter or whatever its called), and left it half way through out of boredom. Never came back. I have heard that the other two classes are more fun to play though.

Played Sacred for much longer. But then I beat the original campaign on Gold difficulty and went straight to Platinum without doing the Underworld Gold campaign. That was a humongous mistake, as I found out that every piece of loot I found was unusable due to the level requirements being 20 levels too high. Huge oversight IMO.
Titan Quest.
Upss... it's not available on GOG! :( How could this be?...

swizzle66: I'm in the mood for a hack and slash RPG. I've been looking at Nox and Sacred. Is one better than the other? Which should I buy?
Nox is better, though not really action rpg, so if you only want an ARPG you'll have to go with Sacred or something similar.

Dunno, but it's a tragedy of the first order.

Probably because its pretty new, at least when compared to most GOG games and runs fine on Win7. I picked it up fairly recently from Steam I beleive, in some .99 cent deal for all the releases or some such.

I don't think it's that. Titan Quest was released in 2006 and the expansion in 2007. So it is old enough for GOG given the fact they already have other 2007 games. And the fact that it works on win 7 as it is it's a great advantage for GOG as they don't need to tweak it.

Most probably they thought TQ is not so exclusive being sold on all other digital distribution sites. Which is a shame because I prefer having all my games on GOG. I for instance don't use other DD sites.

I still hope that some day they will realize their omission...
agreeing with others here,
of you haven't played Divine Divinity, then you should forget either of these two games for now and play that.
