Maybe the release will be tomorrow, because of the Holiday promo I don´t expect any new promo this friday.

GOG seems to have backed off of the Tuesday / Thursday release schedule, but they have released games at the end of the business day quite a few times in the past, so we can't say for sure that there is no release until they've all gone home for the day.

I bring this up a lot, but my favorite "no release today" thread was the one that was posted about 30 seconds before Psychonauts went up. People often write off the new release prematurely.

Can we know for certain that GOG will yet release something this year? Last year, after the free game (Tex Murphy) and the mega-promo, they bade us farewell for the remainder of the year.

EDIT: Although, it's also true that they announced that Riven would be the last game to be released in 2009.

Probably won't be new releases now until the end of the christmas promo. They'd have to release System Shock or better for it to get any real sales in the middle of a promo like that.

I don´t think so. First of all many games on the cathalog are not on this promo. Second, they would say something about it if they were not going to release anything until january.

Damuna: I'm not really sure we should be expecting new releases any time this month. I mean, we just got a new free game, and, well...the GOG staff are paid staff. Paid staff need vacations, just like us, and Christmas is generally the time people get those. GOG are probably running a skeleton crew right now, and you can't release a game when you have nobody around to respond to technical problems like the new game's data happening to play demon chants when run backwards, and now the entire games library has turned evil and the servers are on fire.
At least Moto racer 3 will be released, it runs good with the dotemu version, so it may not have tecnical problems here.

Here people use to work on Cristmas, only education centers have vacations.

They released Tyrian 2000. I don't think they'll release another game in this week.
