michaelleung: Yup, NOLF 1 was published by then-Fox Interactive (now Activision Blizzard's many little companies that may or may not have survived the uber merger), and NOLF 2 was published by Sierra. Hopefully it shows up on GOG.

StingingVelvet: On top of that Monolith might retain some rights (like they did for FEAR), and they are now owned by Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. actually went back and acquired all the rights to FEAR and re-released the original on Steam, so we can hope they might do the same for NOLF. Monolith have been very quiet for years now and it's my deepest hope that they are working on NOLF3.

I have NOLF and NOLF2 in their original boxed editions and both work fine on Win7, for those interested.
I have only NOLF2 in the original box but can't play on Win7...once in the game i can't hear sounds such as weapons, voices...only music!!! i've tested in 3 differents pcs :/
I'd love to see these on GOG, also with Contract JACK in the bundle.
It might not have been the best, but it's part of the series.

Well it works fine on my Win7 PC, so it ain't the OS.

Ric1987: I would like to see them here also! The first was very good, never got to play the second.
NOLF1 was awesome other than the long cutscenes. NOLF2 would have been great if not for the idiot who decided to put in respawning guards; I soon got tired of being shot in the back by a guard who had just spawned in an area that I had completely and utterly wiped clean a few minutes before.

And I would certainly buy them again on GOG to get lose the CD checks.
I played both and like NOLF 2 better, but 1 was still good. I have the original NOLF 2 (lost the disc for 1) and it works fine on my WIN7 computer. I checked the desktop shortcut and I didn't do anything to get it to work.
I can remember wasting many hours playing NOLF2 online with my buddy and some of his friends from work. It was a fun time.

I LOVED the cutscenes actually....and AFAIK you could skip the dialogue lines one by one by pressing a certain key to get through it quicker. I agree on the respawning guard thing for NOLF2 though.....IMO it HAD to be a glitch as it only happens in certain areas like the russian base inner areas.
funny thing - just discused with my brother 1 hour ago that these games really should make it to gog. ALONG WITH CLIVE BARKERS UNDYING!!

I loved both NOLF games, but I doubt a NOLF 3 is in the future, since The second one did not do all that well in the sales department.

Got the same problem. In fact, the solution is very simple: in the Options panel, you have to turn off the "hardware sound" (i think it's called that). Anyway, it's a sound-related problem, so the answer is in the sound properties in the option panel. It did the trick for me.
I loved the Nolf games please add them both
For those unfamiliar with the series, here is the intro to the first NOLF in HD widescreen with proper aspect.

Also from the first NOLF, here is one the best "overheard conversations" in gaming between two henchmen.

They really do need to try to get Nolf 1 & 2, both are extremely well made games that are funny as all hell.
I would so love to see these games on here. I would definitely pay a premium for them.
