Hi guys,
All of a sudden my girlfriend's Nexus 7 will not transfer files from windows.
The only recent changes I can think of are maybe updating to Jellybean 4.4.4 recently, and I think some kind of windows auto update yesterday.
Notes:
I had never noticed the "ACER ADB" device in the device manager before now (though maybe I wasn't looking).
I'm certain that the device never had an eject NEXUS 7 option before.
Basically what happens is the device connects, and disappears from the devices in windows. If I delete the driver "ACER ADB" it will appear for a moment, then I believe the Nexus 7 reinstalls the driver causing it to disappear again.
Note: The device is set as connect as Media device MTP
Note: My brand new Nexus 7 is doing the same thing, however BOTH Nexus 7s work fine when connected to my Windows 7 PC.
