Hasn't Humble Bundle been doing books (or was it audiobooks?)
And DRM-free graphic novels!

Coelocanth: I'd be far more interested in books than movies.

Elmofongo: Bring Tokien and George R R Martin please.

Also bring books from video game franchises, Dragon Age has a bunch of books among others.
LOTR and ASOIAF would never show up on gog because they are way, way to protective of their IP. Just look at the numerous mods canceled due to receiving a cease and desist from Middle-earth Enterprises.

They did both and actually added a book bundle widget on their website. I think they start fortnightly on Wednesdays.

the_atm: I think that'd be cool and something I'd definitely buy into however I'm thinking GOG would have to invest in a mobile app of some kind. I may just be speaking on behalf of my self here, but I'd rather not read a full novel on my PC...

It's still an idea, though how it would fit into GOG'S name... Good Ol' Games is beyond me haha.
Hahaha imagine lugging your gaming rig (with a 100m extension cord) next to the deckchair by the pool. Assuring everybody around you that you are "merely" reading the latest Neil Gaiman novel DRM-free pdf from your PC, because gamers are people too!

MacBooks are for wusses!

This is a brilliant picture, thanks! Having said that I have seen some HP Pavillion Laptops that put desktop PC's to shame when it came to sheer weight.

Books and Lossless music would be much more interesting to me than the movies.

Also, vintage video game magazines would be a nostalgic dream come true.
I'd actually rather have books than movies, but I could settle for both :D
I would definitely love books being added. I've been wanting to add more Fantasy books to my Kobo Aura HD.

Also as somebody mentioned, old magazines/strategy guides scanned in would be sweet as well, imagine some old Nintendo Powers or the Earthbound strategy guide? Would be amazing.
