Combining best of both worlds of features from the earlier smash hits by Chris Sawyer and his team, we give you [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/chris_sawyers_locomotion]Chris Sawyer’s Locomotion. From a small entrepreneur with 2 bus stops and a rusty old bus, become the biggest tycoon of all time and connect the whole world with your spiderweb of transportation routes. Build railroads, trams, trucking lines, airplanes, ships and buses and manage your company from the early 1900’s to long past 2100 like an immortal economic entity would do. The game is played in a 2D isometric view and features beautifully-drawn historic and futuristic styles, with colorful and high resolution textures. Choose from over 40 pre-designed scenarios (including those based on real countries f.ex. USA, UK or Canada) and five difficulty settings to accommodate any playing style. This game is a special treat for vehicle enthusiasts: with lots of classic automobiles and trains, and Chris Sawyer’s insighhtful look on the future of transport past the year 2000, anyone who played with model train sets growing up will get a kick out of this classic.

Fret no more, GOG.com is doing everything to fulfill your tycoon needs so don’t hold back and grab Chris Sawyer’s Locomotion for $5.99 now!

ne_zavarj: your welcome

second round folks
Redeemed :D

I like management/tycoon/builder games. I would love to see in here titles like Traffic Giant, Sim City and more RCTs.
Nice to see it here. It can't reach the original Transport Tycoon and especially the pimped OpenTTD, but I'm curious how good or bad this version really is, because I never played it. Wishlisted.

Also another vote for the industry giant series.

Ok so this is the one I never heard of....anyone would like to buy it for me ?? :D
Most definitely wishlisted.
Not heard of this before, but I sure like some Transport Tycoon. So wishlisted for now.
I've never heard of this game but it's right up my alley. There's a lot of random talk in this thread but has anyone ever played it? Is it worth my time?

I didn't even know this game existed. It looks nice, but the reviews seem pretty negative. I'll have to think about this one...
The game is good, but, no random map generator as in Transport Tycoon, so, FFS!

GameRager: Did they ever make a mortuary/funeral parlor tycoon? I think that'd be awesome to play.
Add the possibility of recent corpses getting raised as zombies if you're careless and build the mortuary too close to a chemical waste disposal site... And that'd be an insta-buy for me ;-)

Xaromir: Everybody's doing a brand new dance now c'mon baby, do the loco-motion. :D

Wish-listed. :)
Thank God someone saw what I did there :P

This was disappointing to me too. I hope to see here in the future the original Transport Tycoon (or the Deluxe version), not this remake.
I like how the title of the game is listed as "Locomotion, Chris Sawyer's" for sorting purposes in the catalog. This should probably be done with Alpha Centauri as well. Maybe the Tom Clancy games as well.

this means Transport Tycoon Deluxe will eventually find its way here! :-D I love OpenTTD but I need the original music (even though the new music is awesome too) for maximum nostalgia.
Instawishlisted!
