Now here's something that's rarely seen among our releases - an isometric shooter! And not just any shooter, but the absolute definition of the words "killing spree" and "bloodbath" by Sigma Team!

Today's release of [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/alien_shooter_expansions]Alien Shooter comes complete with two expansions: Fight for Life and Experiment, giving you hours upon hours of brain-relaxing mayhem. As a mercenary, armed with the best weaponry money can buy, you're sent to clean up a science facility overrun by alien monsters. Your mission will only be complete once every single one of them is splattered on the floor. And spatter them on the floor you will, pumping our fire, lead and other projectiles with abandon. And that's the beauty of the Alien Shooter series - it offers only one thing - wave upon wave of extraterrestrial fodder just waiting to be blown to bits. And, as soon as you start playing this game, you realize that's just what the doctor ordered...

Welcome, Sigma Team. Believe me, I was waiting for your games to be released here on GOG. I couldn't find the expansions in the other big DD stores, so I was holding out to buy GOG's release including the expansions.

Although GOG didn't make clear what version of the base game this is: the original or the Revisited.

Now please get to add the remaining games here, just like the games are: non-stop action, non-stop release schedule. There's Alien Shooter 2: Reloaded and Conscription, Zombie Shooter 1 and 2. ;)

Chihaya: Why buy the original game when there's a remake that will cost 1$ in the Steam holiday sale?

We all know that if we wait we can get probably the whole series for like 2$.

stonebro: I have Alien Shooter on Steam and love it, but I don't think the expansions are on Steam? I didn't even know there were expansions.
Steam and other DDs do not sell the expansions.

Just check out the screenshots and the filesize. This is the original Alien Shooter, not the remake which was subtitled Revisited. As I mentioned in my post a little bit above, Steam sell Revisited, the improved version. I've no idea if Revisited contains the levels from the expansions, though.

EDIT:
Having just checked the Sigma Team website, the two expansions contain 5 additional levels each, so if Revisited only has 10 levels (according the the description on their website) then it definitely doesn't contain the expansion levels.

Anyway, you never know, we might end up with all of them here on GOG, Revisited included. *Fingers crossed*

Yep, I've noticed the screenshots and the cover of the game, both didn't say Revisited.

Better asking GOG directly to be sure, right? (because I don't have any idea too, I did not played the so called remake).

And if indeed this is not Revisited, they can already get working to release it separately in the future. *Fingers crossed: the sequel*

Yep, it would make more sense to bundle 'em all for $9.99, each game and their respective expansions: AS1, AS2, ZS1+ZS2, three bundles.

Still, I'll be happy if GOG at least manages to have all the originals, remakes and expansions; bundled or not bundled. *hint hint*
